    Default Subscription scam?

    I just pre-ordered the new expansion, the big boy, and bought the bonus point package; you said in the FAQ that there would be a button to choose no subscription, well there wasn't one, so I was forced to click the button to upgrade subscription, it never said just upgrade account for the expansion, then it goes to the next page and tells you that you are now signed up for a new 14.99 per month subscription. It still shows me as premium and asks if I would also like to upgrade to VIP/Unlimited with the button below that. I see nowhere at all that lets me choose anything, so I ASSUME that I am still f2p/premium, and it says that I am, but it ALSO says I am signed up for a 14.99 per month recurring sub.!!! Your FAQ lied-there were no choices whatsoever when buying this to avoid clicking the one that says upgrade subscription. Further, your final page says that I will be charged. So if I AM actually charged since there is nowhere to downgrade this phantom subscription, you will be hearing from me, and the Better Business Bureau will be hearing about you from me. And why in the heck do you not have a manage subscriptions page? I'm assuming again that since it's not showing any way to manage my subscription length that this subscription isn't real.

    It says this:
    This subscription will automatically renew at US $14.99 per month plus any applicable taxes. Recurring subscription fee and any applicable taxes will be charged against your credit card monthly in advance after the free period. All subscription payments are non-refundable. And so forth and so on....

    Update:

    Several minutes later, it says this:

    To reactivate your subscription, select a subscription plan and enter a payment method in the fields below. Click the Submit button to resume your subscription.

    Can you be any more misleading?

    This is strange, mine did not change to a subscription, it still shows premium. But I have never had a subscription. So maybe that is part of it.

    How do I add the expansion to my existing DDO account?

    After purchasing the expansion, a product key will be sent to your email address. Log into https://myaccount.turbine.com and enter this product key. Select “yes” to upgrade, and then select the appropriate option for your account, read and agree to the Terms of Service, and click submit.
    If you’re interested in becoming a VIP, select the VIP plan of your choice!
    If you’re already a VIP, simply select that plan again. You will not be billed for your new plan until the end of your current subscription.
    If you’re a Premium or Free user, and don’t want to become a VIP, select “Game Card or Other Payment Option” and for billing info section select “I don’t have one now, I will enter one later.”

    As far as I am aware, the reason it says you will be charged X at the end of each month is due to a previous subscription. It puts whatever your last subscription was into this field regardless of the fact that you may or may not have an active subscription.

    I didn't get this dialog at all. I am Premium, got the Collector's Ed. and no points pack. I logged into my account, and pasted the key into the box on the account's front page. It upgraded the subscription- I didn't see anything about becoming VIP or being charged. Maybe because I didn't get the points package???

    Sorry not sure all I could do is post that I don'r have the cash right now to get the Pre-Order so not sure what it is But I would say use the support link at top of the forums and put a ticket it to the accounts section.

    Nor did I when I upgraded my wifes account (which is premium).

    It said in the e-mail that she was back on the 6 month plan (which she used to be), but a check of her account shows her as premium. I think its a display bug (very misleading) that just inserts whatever your last subscription info was into. If you never had a subscription, then nothing would be there.

    If you really were upgraded to VIP you would notice it and be charged immediately and b) there would be a date on your account as to when you would be charged again.

    Angry no product key

    i just bought the 49.99 package for the preorder and the money was took off my card but i never got an email. how long does it take to get ur product key through ur email. i feel like i wasted 50 dollars for nothing cause without out my product key i cant get my immediate ingame bonuses. whats up with teat
