    Post DPS table for top TH weapons

    So, let's start.
    DPS = damage per swing

    Calculations assumes IC:Slashing feat, PA feat and 0% fortification on target.

    Also taken in account:
    Lighting Strike (Lit2 GS and Air3 alch. weapons): 1.5% to inflict 20d20+400 electro damagt (~9 damage per swing*)
    Incineration (eXuum): 5% to inflict ~300 fire damage (~15 per swing)
    Electric Storm (Air3 falchion): 15d6 electro damage on natural 20
    Xuum counted as +7 weapon
    Antique counted as +9 weapon (+7 by tokens +2 righteous)
    ___
    *You can substract these 9 dmg from DPS of Lit2 to see DPS of Min2 wepons

    Lit2 damage include: ~7 good and ~16 electro damage for falchion (~15 for axe) per swing
    Epic Antique Greataxe damage include: ~4.5 force damage per swing
    Epic Xuum damage include: ~21 fire damage per swing
    Air3 Alchemical falchion damage include: ~16 electro damage per swing
    Epic Hellstroke Greataxe damage include: ~1 untyped damage per swing
    Holy of Greater Bane falchion damage include: ~7 good and ~10.5 untyped damage per swing

    How to use the table?
    Let's assume you want to see DPS of some weapon for your ubergeared horc. To do this you need:
    1. Find a row with your maximum STR (i.e. let it be 74 STR)
    2. Find corresponding Dmg Mod (58 Dmg mod for 74 STR)
    3. Add all your items/feats/enchancements to Dmg Mod (+12 PA-enchancements lines (+10 for PA feat already included!), +4 horc THF, +4 claw set, +2 shintao = +22 total)
    4. See weapons DPS for this modified Dmg Mod value (58+22=80)

    I was about to grind for like three of these items that it turns out are all worse than my Lit 2. Didn't know it was that good.

    Decent base damage table... But of course none of this takes into account mob DR, resistance or immunities to certain damage types, which are pretty big swings to the damage output of weapons against specific mob types.

    But nice work on the way base damage table all the same .

    This game lacks official info about chances.

    Some are known:

    Lightning Strike = 20d20+400 electrical damage, chance = 1.5%, Official info: by Eladrin.


    Many others are unknown:

    Incineration = 300 Fire damage (proof?), chance = 5% (proof?)

    Magma Surge = 80d6 fire damage over 4secs (proof?), chance = 2% (proof?)

    Corrosive Salt = 20d6 Dehydration damage per second for 4 seconds (proof?), chance = 2% (proof?)

    Disintegration = 450 untyped damage (proof?), chance = 2% (proof?)


    Incineration Guard = 261-321 Fire damage (proof?), chance = 5% (proof?)

    Lightning Storm Guard = 500-700 damage (proof?), chance = unknown

    Magma Surge Guard = unknown, chance = unknown

    Corrosive Salt Guard = unknown, chance = unknown

    Disintegration Guard = 450 untyped damage (proof?), chance = 2% (proof?)

    Nightmare Guard = 5-40 force damage (proof), chance = unknown

    Steam Guard = 8 + 2d8 of untyped damage (proof?), chance = 20% (proof?)


    I have listed here only several, there are many more.

    It is not correct to count glancing blows here, because it is damage-per-SWING table. You may add 50% to damage to see what damage you could do with one swing + maximized glancing blow. Many people prefer to use twitch method as do I on my WF FvS without any THF feat or even my barbarian with full line.

    But yes, some important things here is not taken into account: increased crit multiplier of frenzied berserk or crit chance of kensei.

    On eXuum: Incineration is nowhere near 15 damage per swing.

    From developer Genasi's posts (these are from memory) when he was discussing Greater Incineration on post U11 Epic Garos' Malice:

    - Greater Incineration has a proc rate 'approximately double that of Incineration'
    - As a result it does about 50% more damage than Lightning Strike, albeit in smaller packets of a more commonly resisted element

    Add the observation that Incineration procs are around 300, and I conclude that Incineration is most likely about 3/4 of the damage per swing of Lightning Storm, and is quite likely 2%/200+10d20 (Greater being 4%/200+10d20).

    Formula to calculate would be (for +10 version):
    ((11+10+STRmod+DMGmod)*(1*0+15*1+4*2)+3.5*19+5.5*4+AvgDis integration*19)/20
    where (3.5*19+5.5*4)/20=4.425 electricity damage per hit
    if Disintegration (unconfirmed, according to wiki) is 2.5% of 450, then AvgDisintegration=450*0.025=11.25, and 11.25*19/20=10.6875 untyped damage per hit.
    simplified formula:
    (21+STRmod+DMGmod)*23/20+15.1
    so, if you have i.e. 44 STR (+17 mod) and PA:
    (21+17+5)*23/20+15.1=64.55

    I still miss the shard (guess as 99% of server population) and can't do test by myself on Xuum.
    As DustTheWind post procrate on triple fire GS is near 3.3% and this is ~10 damage per swing (if assumption about average 300 damage is correct). This require further investigations and I will do this as soon as possible.

    Why not Holy Burst of Greater Bane?
    Also, was 6% doublestrike taken into account on the Alchemical? I don't see it listed.
