Default Should I get the new pack?

Hi, I'm asking because I've got 3 or 4 packs which I've never done.
But the new pack contains 2 raids, so normally I would have bougth it rigth away, but...
except shroud and reaver, there seem to be no raids on ghallanda, I know that it migth be time when I'm logged in, or someone could remember my name only for raid/quest which gone disaster (happens sometimes ).
Yesterday I was making 2 vod LFMs (at different times of day/nigth), which filled to 10th person, and then we're waiting for healer. When I'm raid leader, I often read books, so I don't mind how long it takes to fill, but other people are dropping after 30-60 minutes.
So my question, what happened with healers? Did all quitted because of HP bars, did all TRed to artificers or something? Are new raids run in pugs?

The clue is in the word "NEW"

When new content/classes/mechanics get added to the game, it's natural for players to want to take a look - initially on Lama land which has an affect on the number of players/lfms's then when it all goes live players will change focus fora while and do the new stuff.. like thos switching to Arti... not everyone has seen how they pan out at high level so they are on a mission to get one up there. Other reasons will be to reenable completionist on previous completionists, so low level content will be prevalent for a little while.

As for raids.. the new raids are alot tuffer than the weeny stuff that came before so Pugging them is a little risky at tfirst and its likely many will run in guild grps, static groups or channels... nothing new tbh.

Sure your time of playing maybe a factor as well.. but I say be patieint and let it all settle down.
As for buying the pack.. ive tried some of the new stuff and have to say its impressive, challenging and has a good mix of things in them...thumbs up from me personally.

In an attempt to avoid the obvious debate currently going on for this new pack I'll just give you an evaluation of the content.

I think the answer to your question really lies in knowing how much of the end-game go you play. If you have an account full of level 20 characters (or level 15>) then I would recommend it. This pack has added three new-end game quests as well as two new end-game raids. The first new end-game content in several years to be added.

If you are into having the best gear, then it migh also be adviasble because it can offer some exceptionally nice end-game weapons and shields, with a smattering of new named items as well.

If you are relatively new to the game, or if you prefer the early to mid game more than end-game, then I would say you can hold off on acquiring the new pack.

I can't speak for anyone else, but personally I have absolutely no desire to join any pugs on my healer. To be honest, I have very little desire to even play my healer at all. These changes to hp bars, boss hp/fort and flavored soles are just stupid and greatly decrease the enjoyment I used to get from playing my FvS.

Most people I've seen are leveling artificers, or running the new content. Very few on capped toons want to run the old old raids given there's new stuff to do. I've also heard of a few people that have shelved, TR'd or rerolled their FVS as some means to protest the wing double nerf. Though maybe you'll see an uptake of VoD runners in the form of leveling artificers soon.

The sheer entertainment value of these is quite good, IMO.

Like another said, these quests/raids are designed for top levels. If you play a lot of end content or enjoy challenges, then yes!! If you're primarily a casual player, then your money may be better spent elsewhere.

As of right now, the quests don't seem to be that great of experience, but they're fairly fun. The loot is good.

If you like Undermine, and all the "friendly fire" action that it entails, you will LOVE Blown to Bits.

I flagged my Cleric last night, but have yet to run the raids. I can't give any opinions on them yet.

There's barely any reason to buy the pack right now. Loot is lackluster without set bonuses.
Set bonuses unachievable due to some items not dropping due to a Turbine coding bug.

Only reason to run the quests is for XP or raid flagging. As any new raid, it's resource heavy
while players are figuring out the tactics. If I were you I'd wait a bit, might even catch it on sale in 2-3 months.

    "Blown to Bits" Loot:

    "Power Play" Loot

    "Schemes of the Enemy" Loot

    "Flagshipped!"

Yes, even if the only reason to run it is to get boots for all your characters.

    The boots are awesome.

Is there anyway to find out what you have purchased .. I know going to 'My Account' wil tell you recent purchases but I think I may have got some back when WF/Drow were released for sale and they don't tell you purchases from those days.

I know I have all races because character creation shows me and all but FvS for class, oh and 32 pt build .. as for packs tho, no idea .. lol

While I'm not sure about the times you play, I think many healers are not playing with pugs anymore. Not sure of the reason though. I still enjoy playing my clonk from time to time. But yeah, I constantly see a ton of LFMs that are waiting for a healer...especially at higher levels.

If you're part of a guild or channel that runs lots of raids, then I say go for it cause the loot in the new pack is quite good even outside the raids.

Thanks for advice, but actually someone necroed this thread.
And BTW, I got the pack already, raids or not, quests are fun after all, and I love crafting rewards for favor.
