A RL friend who just started playing DDO, asked why only halflings have bad eyesight? And why only men? Is bad eyesight somehow attached to the short male genome in Eberron?
Can we have glasses for all species/genders? My Female Horc desperately needs to see an optometist!

Dwarves have glasses as a facial option as well.

Dwarves have four eyes too.
My lil cleric (geoffey) has the glasses option on. Figures the vertically challenged races are plagued by bad eyesight.
Not sure about the other races... But i've seen optics on halfies and dwarves atleast.
Should be an option for races that could use... Not that it has much bearing on actual gameplay.
Tbh, if i had to look at that many arses everyday, may just wish for hindered sight. Take the glasses off, the fact that your eye level with someones bulbus bum may just fade with your vision.
... (though, the smell may reinforce it)

I just think it would cause more elitist grief.
TBH, If I was putting a Shroud together and I saw a Ranger with specs, I would TOTALLY drop him from group, and immediately put him/her on my special "friends" list. I mean, really- it's like having a rogue missing 2 fingers or a wizzie with singed eyebrows.
That kind of thing makes me nervous.

It's because when the taller races break their glasses when the come visit the halflings and dwarfs homes. we keep running into their low hanging lighting and doorways. everyone just gave up on glasses after a while.
