    Default Go TR Sorcerers!

I run a L11 TR Bard and until today Ive never piked - ever

But in a Dreams of Insanity earlier a TR Sorc joined the group and taught me how to be a piker.

He pretty much killed everything in sight and all I had to do was run along at the back popping songs and hasteing and raging the group.

Arcanes are overpowered? Not in my book theyre not.

I wish all runs went as smoothly.

I say give Sorcs songs as well then I can truely pike with abandon.

On a serious note, it was the smoothest D of I Ive ever run. TY Lam******** (full name witheld)

Wait till you get TWO nuke-specced sorcs in a group. You'll come to realise that mid-game melees really do get invited just to help with the ransack bonus (though you'll see alot of box-kills stolen by errant fireballs)

On Sorceror or Wizard with enough money to not mind drinking pots is enough to make most everyone feel useless. Which they actually are. I suppose the next pass through spells will reduce their power a bit again and I hope they won't go too far with it this time. Not an easy task actually, balancing with so many options is tough.

As far as pots go, I'm running a level 14 Air Savant and I'm having no problems with SP while soloing GH walk-ups.

And, yes, I'm in love with my sorc, just running into a room, throwing down a Ball Lightning, and Bang! Dead mobs everywhere.

I've never really thought arcanes were OP in any way. I just congratulate those people on figuring out how to run them well and the dedication they put into their toon. *shrug*

14 levels into a FireSavant and no pots yet.

450 point crits from a SLA kind of make bringing others along a challenge.

No one needs pots. Pots allow for more casting and more damage by choice, not necessity.

Nuking sorcs tend to rule the roost in the mid levels with or without pots, however.
