Default Please consider adding Guards to Accessories

I am simply wondering, if not being able to craft any sorts of Guard enhancements on your shield was implemented on purpose or not.. I think it is ridiculous that you can create the likes of Holy Burst and Impact on a defensive accessory, but not be able to craft guards on the epitome of guarding itself.

I understand that the system is still in beta stages, thus all i'd like to know if this is intended or not.
Moreover, guards are a more important tool now that Intimidate plays a smaller role in tanking.

If the powerful effects on Green Steel items and Dragontouched Armor can stack together, why wouldn't you let us use a couple more lesser/greater elemental guards to fill up the equipment slots with something useful?

I can see little reason not to have craftable guards on shields (actually wouldn't mind some real guards vs the lesser), but OTOH, I can't really think of any Crafting Beta shield i'd rather wear than some of the named (i.e. Crystal Cove shield etc).
Remember the little people, if for no other reason than to better savor the squishy sound they make as you roll over them.

The title of this thread caused me to have an image of Paris Hilton with a Doberman in her purse. (Instead of whatever rodent-like creature she actually carries there.)

"Of course it is. Are YOU going to question beholder's artistic sense?"
