    Default Need a 18 rogue/2 fighter build

Hi guys, I have human rogue 12 fighter 1 that is ready to level up.

Was following a 18 rogue 2 fighter build but I've lost that book mark and can't find any other builds with with the 18/2 when doing searches.

Does any one have the link to a good 18/2 build?

if you were following a build you'll have to tell us where you got to. changing to a different build will have a high chance of breaking your character.

so, open your character sheet and hover over each of your attributes. make a note of the base score and post those here. also let us know what attribute you have been putting points into every 4 levels.

then find Fred in house J, use him to make a list of the feats you have chosen and post those here

finally make a list of the skills you have put ranks into, and how many ranks.

with that information we might be able to help you plan for the last few levels.

What is the advantage of the two levels of fighter? You give up a rogue special feat and 5d6 sneak damage for two fighter feats.

2 fighter feats, Fighter Toughness (forgot if it's I or II, probably the former), proficiency in all simple and martial weapons, some more HP.

EDIT: Oh, and Fighter Strength I, of course.

If I had to guess, I'd say the OP was probably following an old build back when the rogue capstone sucked @$$.

bolang: it would help if you posted your build so far and explained what your goals were. Splashing a rogue is a lot less appealing than it used to be, but it can still work out OK. But you might be better off as rogue 19 / ftr 1.

Bongwater knows what he is talking about...My favorite "rogue" alt uses his Tempest Trapmonkey Dwarf template.

Not sure that weapon finesse and OTWF really go together....but otherwise it looks like you are on the right track...make sure your enhancements are leading towards the PrE you wanted and you should be ok...this looks familiar????? Hopefully Bongwater or Tiocan will recognize the build/builder.

seems to be fine so far, though i'm not sure why 2 fighter was in the plan at the moment. might be to compensate for weapon finesse

any way, feats you still want are power attack and greater TWF. i'd advice you grab power attack first to help you with those sneak immune mobs. because you're finessed based you should be hitting things easily and so power attack will be on most of the time.

of all the skills you listed disable device is one you dont want to skimp on. so next chance you get max it out, probably at the expense of open lock which isnt as critical when missing a few points

as for oversized TWF and finesse, i guess its to allow the use of 2 rapiers so thats probably just fine.
