Default How to target with Firewall?

    hi

OK, i seem to be casting my firewall where i don't really want it to go.

Is there a method or a trick to targeting the place where i want firewall to go?
    Especially up to higher places.

Actually i have the same problem with blade barrier as well on my cleric.

    Thanks.

Blade Barriers are easy, they center on the caster exactly where he/she is when the spell goes off.

Wall of Fire, when you are targetting things above you, is easiest to cast by targetting the mob above you.

Untargetted, the spell will center at the point where the targetting reticle is, if you try to target a ledge from below, you generally hit the side of the ledge.

Also remember that if you have a mob hard targeted so that your Wall of Fire will appear on the mob, you can adjust your character facing in relation to the mob to change the orientation of the firewall when it lands.

I turn off auto targetting (hit 'G') on my casters; helped me a lot.

Set your spell as a HotKey and use mouse look.. Where you gaze is where it'll blaze!

Hold the "Right Click" button down, and then press your firewall hotkey. It should go just where the little circle is.
