What's your favourite hireling and why?

My favourite is definitely samuel merrick, he can raise the dead, he can summon probably the best summon (earth elemental) and he also has greater command which is great for crowd control. He's level 9.


He doesnt have Dv's for the mana users though but he's the best of the non-dv one's.

Damon Everwander, lvl 15 bard hireling with haste, displacement, ironskin song AND inspire courage.
He is just cool.
In emergency he is using cure critical wounds.
He is best pal for soloing on meele toon.

Yes i would agree that Sam is one of my fav's too. For lvl9 he sure has more to offer than the lvl10 and maybe lvl11 hirelings. He did great with me in Cabal the other day.... lvl13 quest im lvl10 (TR) yes but hardly twinked and he's lvl9.

There is also a lvl4 cleric i took thru Tear when i was lvl4 on norm lvl7 quest , 16min no deaths no shrine, 158 kills, didnt go for the tears.... more character testing

If you use them correctly , they are great
