    Default High AC build?

I have heard from many people you can get over 30 AC at level 5, and it is great, so on and so forth. But how does that actually work? What sort of build would i need for an actual 30 AC? i cant seem to come up with anything...

Just as one example, without using anything crazy and with a reasonable stat distribution:

    Halfling rogue2/monk2
    dex 17 base +1@lvl4 +1 race +1 rogue +2 item +2 stance = 24 (+7)
    wis 13 base +1 monk +2 item = 16 (+3)

    AC
    10 base
    7 dex
    3 wis
    1 size
4 black widow bracers or mage armor clicky
    4 shield clicky
2 protection item or shield of faith pot or prot from evil pot
    2 barkskin pot
    1 haste pot
    --------------
    34, self buffed and sustainable

Higher is possible, this is just from things that are fairly readily available

    alternatively

    10 base
    10 +2 Mithral Full plate
3 Dex bonus (16 dex with item)
    3 Barkskin pots
    3 Shield of faith pots
    1 haste pots
    ---------------
30 while swing with both hands

Mithral FP would be considered a twink item and would be slightly harder to find

The more important question to consider is how to reach meaningful AC lv 12 + (which requires dedicated build/gear etc)
    Vairs - clc 20 , Aairs - wiz 20, Xairs - Brb 20, Zairs - FvS20, Sairs - Pal18/Mk2, Jairs - Brd 20

That's why I did mine with no twink items, and at level 4.
At level 5 +3 BTA items, Jidz Tet-ka bracers, etc become available possibly raising those numbers considerably on a twinked toon.

Yes, theoretically this works, but please don't advise someone asking about AC to turn on CE at level 5.
It will take him an hour to kill a single kobold in the Harbor because he won't be able to hit the darn thing.
    Let's keep this realistic.

... lol, if there is a shaman that is healing the kobold it may even take forever well, on the other side, with 47 AC you are nearly untouchable in the harbor quests.

What has not been mentioned is the defensive fighting which as well adds up or the Enchantments like the Paladin Armor boost.

By the way at level 7 you can even use the set items from the Red Fens and they are really easy to get.
    * We have collectable bags, mind you, even hireling folders, but can I have that 6-pack for my potions please?
    * Having already a past life on the dieng EU servers, I rerolled here and started from scratch as I like the game and the community, so lets see what awaits me here

Min lvl on +3 armor & shields is 4, IIRC, so if you've got the gear that's another +2. Isn't clear from OP if he's asking about twinked chars or not.
4 Dex (Dwarven Armor Mastery II, Fighter Armor Mastery)
Don't forget regular tower shields cap your MDB to 2; so this only works with mithril TS. And if you're lucky enough to have MFP, you only need 1 armor mastery enh.
