Sins of Attrition epic change yesterday?

Did a sins on norm yesterday (pulled a keepsake) and it was all like it always was.

went in an hour later to help someone get flagged..on normal.

Cinderspawn 1, epic ward. Casters with him, epic ward.
Efreeti epic ward, casters did not have it.
2nd cinderspawn did not have epic ward.

some devils had epic ward, others did not..


strange mix...
was not that way an hour earlier...and today I went in and more seem to be epic warded..

Bug.

In very many high-lvl quests (not sure about low lvls) some monsters have epic ward. Additionally, the quest will appear in your timers as "[This quest] can be replayed on epic difficulty in n hours."

Its a bug. I've been in severaluns where the mobs are Epic warded lately. Shrouds, SUbterrane,

Bug. Seems to happen randomly in quests.

I've only NOTICED it happening right after running an epic quest but that could be just me.

Edit: Seen it happen in Twilight Forge, so it's not even just high level quests

Truth. I've seen it from Amrath to my lower alts in the Harbor -- quest level does not appear to enter into matters (at least exclusively).

If I remember correctly, I started seeing this pop up intermittently after Update 5 went live.

As long as those quests start dropping some epic gear when they are bugged then it can say bugged

lol its not a bug ...

its standard programing at turbine .. this is why so much of it never gets fixed ..

Yeah it doesn't appear in the Known Issues thread, so it must be a bug.

hmm, after the last big thread on bugs.....I wonder if the devs are even aware that almost all quests have a chance to spawn epic warded mobs?

I did a Dust run about 2 weeks ago with 3 wizards, and all of the ogres had epic ward. That quest sucks when you can't Finger everthing.

The timer is part of the bad news, but on the plus side if the quest is one with EPIC upgrades available, Seals can drop in the chests! Saw two (not by my name sadly ) in chests in new Red Fens quest (one with the scorps) on Elite this past Sunday.

I guess that only applies to quests that actually have the EPIC option assigned to them?

But that sounds like a bug that gives players an advantage, so at least they might get them to fix it now.
