    Default Second GS accessory for a Stalwart Fighter

    I just got my 20th shroud completion and a cleansing essence.
    I have my first GS accessory as min II HP goggles (once I finish T3 that is).

    Was looking for some ideas as what to go for as a second item. Currently I will have an empty back slot once I finish Min II on the goggles as I can remove my prot cloak. Obviously it makes sense to make a cloak, but I am undecided on what to put on it.

    Best I can think of at this point is a cloak with greater fire res, +5 lightning res, and +10 fire resist.
    Seems that a +40 fire DR, +5 stacking lightning DR, perma blur cloak would be useful.

    Any other ideas people may have?

    my idea was consolidating slots, here are my first three...
    my three items took up
    gtr fire and acid
    +5 cha skills
    +1 saves
    +35 hp
    +2 reflex and dex skills
    always on blur
    +3 con skills and extra spell points...sigh
    displacement, stoneskin clickies


    my first was a immunity goggles....with tier 3 not negative, +3 cha skills.
    poison, fear, blind, disease, +1 saves alchemical ritual

    for me it was about 'always on' stuff and freeing slots.



    my second item was a min II belt,Heavy Fort/Protection 5, Greater acid resist, cha skills +2, +20 hit points, stoneskin clickie


    other than buffing, I never take them off


    my third was a smoke cloak, gtr fire, blur, etc..




    I saved cloak as a switch which is why I made the blur/fire one...other cloaks for other energy resists are easy to find.

    Since you went with goggles for your min2 that rules out swapping in tharnes for dps mode. You can get wretched twilight from the abbot raid in your cloak spot and use a cha skills/ air guard GS cloak when tanking. That would be my recommendation and it only takes one supreme shard to make and gives you +6 to your intimidate. That is of course if you really care about maxing intimidate.

    Radiance Guard or Lighting Guard. Max cha skills in what ever you choose.

    I put +6 CHA skills on goggles and +45 HP/heavy fortification/deflection +5 on cloak. I put +3 dodge*/+6 CHA/+5 resistance on DT armor and swapped Minos Legens for +15 intimidate helm. For neck/ring1 I have Stalwart Necklace/Cinder's Band. This leaves belt/ring2 free for another Amrath set. I'm using Vorne's Belt/Gnawed Ring because I have them, but swap in either Disease Immunity Belt of Greater False Life/Disease Immunity Ring of Balance +15 when required. I swap GS goggles for Tharne's and will swap +15 intimidate helm for 3rd GS item** while in DPS mode. I put +4 Insight on GS weapon.

    *Still farming this, so I currently use +4 Insight for THF.

    **Haven't decided what to do with this slot yet.

    I like the following options:

    1) Lightning Strike +6 Intim/UMD item (air etheral escalation, positive etheral escalation, air and positive etheral escalation).
    2) 45 Fire resist item, situationally swapped out for a different 45 resist item (one cleansing stone is enough).

    Or the budget option: Air Guard +6 Intim/UMD.
