Does Focus of Good add to Concentration for the purposes of ki retention?

I've noticed on low-level Monks near Paladins with that ability that I hold more Ki than when I'm not near them.

had a monk tell me that it wasnt working, but could be wrong

On the past 3 Paladins I had with monk levels, Focus of Good's Concentration increase does help retain more Ki. However, just be aware that as this is part of your aura. It starts after you enter a zone, so your quest starting ki will not be able to factor in Focus of Good's bonus.
