    Default Murlynd's Spoon

    What's with this weird trinket?
I picked it up some days ago and it has a daily effect of creating mush which you can eat in taverns - healing you 90-180 hp or something.

But that's all I know of this item, is it rare/good/expensive?

I see if for sale in the AH frequently. Check their for prices. I seem to recall it selling for quite a bit.

Yes, it is rare. It isn't "good" but it is rare.

I have pulled exactly *1* in 4 years.

Ack. Perhaps vendoring the one I found wasn't the best of choices. Dagnabbit, another lesson learned at the painful expense of my coin purse.

Yeah I vendored the only one I've ever pulled about 4 years ago. Back then it was a pretty good item that I believe got nerfed shortly after to its current state, which is still nice.

Now, it's not that good of an item. If it was usable in a quest, like the pouch of jerky, then it would be a great item.

It's great for creating essentially worthless items to attach to in game mail to your friends to fill up their mailboxes! Err, not that I would ever do such a thing... Nobody should. So if you get this item, don't do that with it, even though it's a really great item for doing that.

It will save you about 1 platinum piece from buying food in taverns and use up your trinket slot.

But yeah, it's a very rare if essentially worthless item.

Well I've managed to sell some stacks of mushes for a couple of douzing plats or so, so I guess I'll keep it for now (in hope for a possible update of the item that might make it more useful)

its more an item to collect than to use. in a land of magical swords and axes i'm proud of the spoon my barbarian has! just wish i could hit kobolds with it...

it really does need some lovin. it would be good as a lvl1 item when you have naff all HP. by lvl5 you can easily afford better food to heal faster.

its complete junk but a very important item for my 2 dwarven barbarians to have. no that doesnt make sense, which is the entire point!

please let us either use it in quests or turn it into a weapon slot so we can batter mobs with it!

Would be nice if they made it upgradeable and it could be recharged and used in quest.

If it could be used in-quest, it would be grotesquely overpowered.

Bear in mind that the mush is durable. You could sit in a tavern and whip up 100 doses of it, and suddenly all healing outside of fights is resource-free.

i'd be happy to see the mush destroyed on exit (like flaming arrows), and only usable after resting at a shrine (same restrictions on when its possible to swap spells).

that would leave is severely restricted but still more functional than it is now.

though if i had the choice i'd prefer to see it in a weapon slot so i can have some real fun with it

naturally i'd like weapon slot and usefulness, but if i had to choose i'd go for fun over function.
