So, who's using them on there ninja spy?
What combinations are you using?
Any issues, promlems, glitchs?
Better choice than Kama's now?

Hi,
Radiance if you're running the monk 12/rog 7/ftr 1 build sounds pretty nice.
Cheers,

Don't argue with a fool because he might be doing the same thing!
i'd say that unless you're specifically trying to beat DR/slashing or using dual vorpals, shortswords are 2x as good as kamas for the simple reason they have 2x the crit range & therefore anything that fires on a crit will proc 2x as often too
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

Banish + Smite.
How about Karmic Strike (fire+dark+fire) and a banishing short sword?
Should be an automatic banishing critical ?
Im at 12 with my new rog/monk ninja spy and using primarily shortswords now that I have improved crit. The radiance will be nice especially when solo. Lit II is good and the main reason I took the static charge as my prereq as -10% equates to roughly 60 more damage each lightning strike not to mention the increased damage on reg attacks.
Unfortunately the higher the monk the more reason to not use shortswords due to handwrap damage increases. But it is a nice option for the monk splash builds that want to use a somewhat decent ki weapon for attacks.
I respecced my drow pure monk to darkside and specifically use only shortswords, except for vorpal kamas and rare occasions where handwraps are just a neccessity (giant undead skeles for example)
I am using the following sets most often at level 18:
+2 holy burst SS of deception & +2 bodyfeeder flametouched SS of deception
+3 Weakening SS of enfeebling & +2 Weakening SS of enfeebling
For pit fiends:
+4 metaline of pure good & +2 metaline flametouched of greater parry.
I'll be making a greensteel at some point, considerations are radiance, min2 or lighting2, any would be +4 insight on the 3rd tier, leaning toward lightning for the doublestrike angle.
I've got a couple other sets but I rarely use them. I dont use banishers and prefer to dps most outsiders, and for constructs ive been using +3 force burst handwraps of construct bane so I don't bother with smiters.
All in all this has become one of my favorite characters after working in the shortswords. I'll probably use bodyfeeder of deception quite a bit when i get to epic, we'll see how that goes.

2 epic Stings? dual wield 2 2d12 weapons instead of ur fists?
I do like the idea of SS for shroud/vod end fights, specifically the ease of getting higher rated metalline of pg weapons.
That being said i'm about to start experimenting with dual wop ss

Once I have the last couple pieces I think I'll turn my monk into a dual zephyr wielding max AC monk just for the hell of it. Might as well make use of all the epic junk I get on characters I don't play too often
Epic Zephyr- (Weapon) +6 Short Sword (Base Damage Mod - Dexterity, crit threat range 18-20) , Finesse, Empty Red Augment Slot
Personally I'd go with Halfling over Drow. The Sneak Attack damage and to-hit adds up to more than what the Drow gets. Also you don't need much INT or CHA so getting your full point buy instead of the reduced Drow point buy would be nice. On top of that 1 more AC isn't bad.
