    Default would this fighter really work?

    This is my first attempt at using the generator and was looking for some opinons/help on the build. i'm kinda new at DDO (highest lvl 6) but am no stranger to mmos. my style is moving around alot during battle and to always take out the caster/range mobs. i'll stand and tank when i have to (doorways etc.) but prefer to be damage output. any help i appreciated.

    This may just be me but....I'm a cleric and I have higher strength than you at level 20....

    You are ending up with alot of odd numbered stats. Remember you get 5 from level ups and two odd stat enhancements...one to two abilities as a human, with three strength enhancements from fighter.

    And you only went up to Kensai II.
    When using the planner show enhancements that are not available so you can plan ahead.
    Look at all the feats and enhancements which seem appealing and make note of them and any pre-reqs you need in order to obtain them.

    You scroll through and think to yourself I want DPS, so you see Power Attack. "I know you have it"

    You scroll through knowing you are THF so you see Cleave and think "I want to open up with a big round about attack to draw hate aggro maybe I can make use of intimidate to make the most of it"

    Maybe you want a high AC build and see Combat expertise and think 5 extra armor class is a must have for me.

    Going through the list of feats and enhancements and using the compendium to get a detailed description of each is a good way to start building.

    Ouch.

    1. All level ups in STR.
    2. Why dex 13? THF doesn't need DEX. The extra reflex save is irrelevant.
    3. Lose Power Critical immediately... completely worthless.
    4. You took toughness 3 times... thats a little excessive. Its up to you.
    5. Diehard = meh.
    6. Kensai III?
    7. You have stunning blow but your low STR won't give good DCs, particularly with no tactics enhancements.
    8. Human adaptibility Dex = no.
    9. Resilience feat? Meh.
    10. Wouldn't recommend Greatswords unless Pally or FvS (unless you happen to have the eSOS waiting - respec for that later if you get it, don't build up front). Greataxe for the auto-crit multiplier, Falchions for the higher DPS. Also consider Mauls (essentially blunt greataxes.)

    The key feature that completely (no offense) ruins this build is the low STR. STR is what fighters do. The others are mostly optimization issues. You really want Kensai III though.

    Also, not swim. Never swim. Put skill points into jump, intimidate, and balance as best you can.
