    Default Calling all unguilded Halflings!

The Halfling Nation is a group of Halflings who have ventured to the city of Stormreach in search of fame, fortune, glory, and well... Fun!

Being a new guild, there are a lot of opportunities to grow and help shape it into what you want it to be. We foster a happy and healthy gaming environment with as little drama as possible. The vision is to have a guild with a very diverse group of players from all over the world. The membership criteria and process is very simple. First, sorry folks, but ya gota be a Halfling. Then again, why wouldn't ya wana be a Halfling anyway . Second, is to fill out the application (link at the bottom of this post). Third, you have to be over the age of 18. Can't get past that one.

    A little about us:

Play Styles: We don't care what type of play style you want, they are all welcome here. Some people like to role-play, some like to power-level, while others enjoy the high-speed Zerg style, and yet yet others like the slow steady style of exploration. Whatever your preferred style, we will be accepting of all players.

Guild Structure: We're new, and are still trying to define the guild structure. Until it is fully discussed, we have four main tiers of membership. Guild members (everyone belongs to this group), Counsel members are ingame officers, Guild officers are those who deal with day to day business and operations of the guild, and the last is Administration. The Administrator level is purely non game related - they are responsible for updating and moderating the forums, etc.

Internal Structure:Our internal structure is a bit different than many other guilds. The specialty groups are each lead by an experienced Officer who is responsible for Recruiting and training their perspective troops. There are currently 7 groups, and are outlined below.

Scrappers – This group is for melee types who dish out a lot of damage. Traditionally called DPS types, these members are those who are able to cut down enemies fast, and keep the path clear for others.
Blockers – This group is for melee types who specialize in keeping the enemy occupied so the Scrappers can take them out quickly and efficiently. Traditionally called Tanks, these melee types typically have a high armor class, and can generate a lot of hate agro or intimidation.
Combat Casters – This group is for Wizards who are mainly equipped to deal massive damage on an offensive basis. Some Sorcerers fit into this category if they are combat oriented and focused.
Spell-Slingers – This group is for Sorcerers who specialize in crowd control and buffing. Some Bards can be members of this group.
Trap-Monkeys – Rogues who specialize in finding and disarming traps, as well as opening locked chests, doors and anything else they don’t want us in. This can be a multi-class group, as many choose to take up this type of skill-set.
Holy Ones – This will be mainly composed of Clerics and other healing oriented classes.
Order of the Tiny Fist – This is a special group for any and all Monk classes.

Recruiting: We are looking for all types of classes and level of players. We are currently looking for leaders in each one of the groups listed above. Anyone interested in leadership positions, please contact the guild leader (ZipperHead) directly in-game, or send a PM via this message board.

Slight change in the ONLY Halflings can apply rule. We recognize that there are other races that have integrated themselves into the Halfling society, and have even played a large role in our societal success. In honor of those who have made such noble contributions, we will open that particular requirement to any race who exhibits an affinity towards Halflings. So, in plain speak... If you like us, we like you!
