You'll need to set up a dual OS system on your dad's Mac. As it goes now, there is no Mac option for this game "out of the box." Once you set up a dual boot, you open up the Windows side and load DDO that way.

you basically need to go to a software store and buy a copy of windows and install it on that computer.

if your not to good with Mac then have your dad do it. You dont want to mess up his computer.

or you could get some flash drive and just copy your ddo folder over
though again, it might not work on a mac, youll need windows either way

I read somewhere that there is a Mac app on Lord of the Rings site (same company as DDO). You could try that.
Actually I will see if I can find the thread.

    Hmm...in my searchings I found this: http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/

Still looking for the app for LoTR.

I think this was what I was looking for...lemme know how it goes:

I am using boot camp but plan to move to the codweavers solution.

Boot camp will work to allow you to install windows.
But you still need to go out and buy Windows.

Boot camp basically is a program that allows windows to run on a MAC but you
still need to get a copy of windows...and again I wouldnt recommend this for
someone not familiar with a mac.

Last thing you want to do is wipe his hard drive.
