    Default Greensteel Hp's VS Sp's

    Hey all

So have hit 20 on my FvS, have all the ingredients needed to make a Concordant Opposition Goggles, but not sure if I should go HP's or SPs
Have 2501 SPs, so I'd go to 2800, not bad, several more mass heals
Have 432 Hps witha con6 GF belt. So it'd go to 477, more HP's always nice, but really haven't had an issue keeping myself up so far so..

Both seem useful, neither seems overwhelmingly "better".

    Any ideas/suggestions?

Have a staggering one shroud under the belt, so it's be about 2 months before I can build the second item.

Depends what your second item will be. If that one can only be HP or SP, then go the other for this one.

Otherwise... I guess SP if you're not having a problem staying alive. And then you've always got Deathpact, so...

    Talking Shroud Items

My vote is for SP on the first one; it will make solo-healing subsequent shrouds with sub-par DPS even easier while you are amassing ingreds for your hp item Seriously though, your hitpoints are pretty decent already and more Blade Barrier is always a good thing.

I generally tend to make SP items first for all my casters and a weapon for my melees.

After that I make a HP items, and after any other nice fluff, like clickies that I may never bother to upgrade to tier three.

I agree with the above... I would go spell points first. I like to think of it as saving 3-4 major SP pots each shrine. Besides, with over 400hps, just use quicken if you get into a pinch

Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus for more SP...

What about hp on tier 1 and sp on tier 2 and 3? if you get an archmagi item you wont be using the tier 1 sp anyway

That's an option, but Tier1 is only 10 hp, which then leaves the question of what to put on the first tier of the item you put HP on tiers 2&3.

    My current plan:
Goggles: Blindness Ward/Disease Immunity, +150 elemental SP, +5 cha skills, Conc-Opp.
Helm: +45 hp, +6 con skills, heavy fort, +5 deflection AC
Cloak (maybe bracers): Greater Fire Res, Inherent Fire Res+10, Inherent Lightning Res+5, Smoke Screen

And stick some weapons in there too. I need more larges. Like 80 more.
