Silly question: collectables and quest difficulty

Good morning.

It appears that I am in need of a -rather large- number of certain rare collectable named "Fragrant Drowshood Mushroom" and I did not quite like the prices on those at the AH

After an extensive research I found out that the bestest possible place to find them would be Tangleroot quest chain. Supposedly it's possible to re-run part 6 as many times as you want if you do not talk to the Ungurz dude to advance the quest line after you zoned into the inner fortress and zoned out

And here I come with a question: does rare collectables drop rate depend in any way on the quest difficulty at all? Would those mushroom nodes have a higher drop rate of rare stuff like Drowshoods if I run this on hard/elite?

If you need 'em on Khyber, we -could- do a guild collectables run in TR this weekend

Luminescent Dusts can drop from any conventionsl collectables node (bookshelves etc), could try farming Redfang, Catacombs part 3 or and even more could be found in "The Enemy Within", a sequel to Mirra's in house J.
