Default Not being Recognized for 'normal' Quest Completion

Don't know if this is the correct forum to post this in, but what seemed the appropriate 1 wouldn't let me due to me being on a F2P account. Anyhow...last night a friend and I ran a quest (believe it's called Swiped Signet from the Phoenix tavern) on normal difficulty which I'd previously soloed on 'casual' difficulty. After completing the quest I've noticed on the Patrons panel that I'm still only recognized as having completed it on casual. I did initially retake the quest and did go back to the quest granter and receive my reward. It's a bit of a pain as I'm currently trying to gain favor with the Free Agents. I was under the impression I would receive additional favor for the normal completion despite doing it the 2nd time in a party? If I should have indeed received additional favor, is it possible to have this corrected?

There's some chance that it'll recognize the proper favor earned the next time you log back into DDO. Check it and see! Otherwise, it's a bug. I'm not sure what you can do if that's the case, probably just rerun it (hint - might as well run on hard if you can for even more favor) and see if it works next time.

This is just a viewing bug. The game still gave you the favor. When you log out and back in the info will be updated.

Thanks for the responses Mockduck and Ragons. Good to know it might be as simple as the panel not being updated; I'll log into night and check it again.

    Yeah, that happens sometimes.
Another thing that you'll eventually notice is that that panel is completely empty from time to time.
That happens sometimes if you try to move before being fully loaded in. Just watch the swirling within the target reticule and/or other people in the area to stop "skipping" a bit before moving and this won't happen. If it does, log off and back in again to fix it, same as the solution to this.

Actually I've gotten that bug before and even logging in/out didn't fix it. I had to completely quit the DDO client altogether and relaunch it in order to be able to view the panel. (But at other times, relogging has worked, so it's a quirk in the bug that sometimes a complete shutdown is needed. I've talked to others who have had the same experience--relogging alone not enough--so it must be at least somewhat common.)
