Sorry that I've been MIA from the forums over the past week or so. Studies/playing and all. Here's the final scoop:
I lied. I've decided I'm too lazy to set up a real beauty competition (Dizzy would obviously win that competition anyway). Instead, this is a celebration of the life of the amazing sorcerer who is Edmund! I know very little about Edmund and would like you to tell me about him.

Mail Hwaranga up to two Life and Times of Edmund the Amazing (this: http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Item:...nd_the_Amazing), and for each Edmund, include a 1-3 sentence-long passage about Edmund.

This could be a short story about Edmund (e.g. One summer day, Edmund the Amazing decided to slay the troglodytes next door whose defecating all over his yard had become a nuisance. But when he walked outside, he decided it was way too hot and went back in to take a nap instead.)

Or it could be a factoid about Edmund (e.g. The Life and Times of Edmund the Amazing has sold 2 copies on Amazon.com. One was bought by his mother. The other was bought by hwaranga.).

Anything you want that is Edmund-related. The more creative, the better. For those of you who have already sent me Edmunds, just send a 1-3 sentence passage for each Edmund you've sent.

Based on quality of story / factoid, there will be 5-10 finalists selected in two weeks. The finalists will be asked three questions each about Edmund. Based on reply to those three questions, order of winners will be determined. There will be a prize for each winner (winner's choice).

Prizes include the following:
Firestorm Greaves
Full set of +2 tomes
Full set of +1 tomes
Demon's blood
Item package 1 (includes +5 mithral armor, vorpal, paralyzer, disrupter, smiter, various +6 stat items, 30% stridors, various epic desert scrolls)
Item package 2 (also includes +5 mithral armor, vorpal, paralyzer, disrupter, smiter, various +6 stat items, 30% stridors, various epic desert scrolls)

May expand the number of prizes available if more people than expected enter. In any case, I hope to learn a lot about Edmund over the coming two weeks.

Will there be a separate category for halflings? Everyone knows they are too gimpy to compete with real toons. Also I am guessing the clue points to 3BC. Beyond that I am stumped. Haven't done much of that content.

Updated! Good luck finding Edmunds. =) Couple of very obvious hints:
- As Futility said, failure is indeed an option.
- There is a lever in the main room if you don't have rogue-ish skills or spells.
- Check the second cluster of boxes on the right. Bottom left of four.
