    when it goes down..

    Everything goes dim
    The sun darkens
My poor Wziard checks over the last few spells he cast to make sure it was not his fault

People are running in panic, huddled in corners, lovers crying and poets scribbling a last few lines

The city gaurd is trying to follow the last orders given out by the Mayor in a febble attempt to keep order

Looting, mayham and fear run wild

The forces of evil that where hiding in the dark recesses of shadow begin to emerge

And then the world goes dark...
My gaming experience began long ago with a red box, six dice, a marker crayon and my imagination.

Well, I was reading through the forums when I thought to myself: "Why am I reading all this **** when I could be in-game playing instead, before my computer goes volatile again?"

So I do just that, I check the server list... Thelanis down!

Me: "What? Really? Fine, I'll read the forums some more..."

So I check back in at 11:30 EST like it told me to:

Me: "Closed until 1 PM EST? What!? Gah!"

I have thus come to the conclusion the DDO staff is working against me, to force me to read posts on the forums while my PC is working, so I'm forced to play when it isn't.

    lol...

I told my gf when we first met 9 months ago, "that I'm a gamer.. been playing this since beta and well.. no matter what I'm not quitting"...

So far.. she won't try the game.. she said no to gencon etc... and when I play she has the terrible habit of trying to sit on my lap... molesting me and basically trying to get me killed (lol)... so if one thing can be said.. server downtime makes her happy and well... that's good (sorta)

Well when we get married in June or so invites'll go out

I just gotta remember.. no gaming on the honeymoon teeheehe

    I do that every patch/update. It's priceless

However, the last time she was on to me so I don't know if I'll be able to sell it today..

    checked greensteel recipes....

Yeah I should have done this, as I logged back in, did a completion run, then tried to craft a mineral 2 and forgot to double shard it at the end. Now I have this wonderful great ax that I can use to smack trash mobs around, without the awesome transmuting effect I wanted on it, which would allow me to use it on raid bosses and the like.

5 weeks of farming mats down the tube.
