Managing a guild question

Hello all,

I'm not usually accused of being dense, but perhaps I am being so here.
I created a guild with the toon I wanted to run it. Now how do I invite my alts into it? Every time I tried Add or Invite, it was looking for a "live" target (i.e. it expected someone to be there as a target for the invite or add). Is there a way to use the mail system to send the invites to my alts?

Sorry, I will admit to being dense, so to see if I have this straight.

My Example:
Heidiann creates a guild called. "Pelor's Knights" and wants to invite my Alts Shamurai and Faithrune (Faithy).

she would type what?
/Guild Pelor's Knights <-- in emails to Faith and Sham?

(and of course the rest of the body of the message would say: Sham: OMG yer outta scrolls, wands and pots again.. here's your allowance and join my guild pl0x. Faith: OMG you used how many wands of CMW/CSW and scrolls!! Here's your allowance and join my guild of 1 pl0x!)

Is that about right?

If you have the ability to recruit people to a guild you type /guild recruitsigil"in the chat box" which places a guild recruit sigil in your back pack which you inturn mail the char you want to recruit.

Nah, you type the following in the chatbox:

/guild recruitsigil

If you open your inventory, you will see a item that looks similar to the leveling sigils. Attatch it to a letter to one of your alts saying:
"Double click this and click yes to join my guild noob! BTW: Take out the trash soon or you will be getting wife aggro..."

Then switch to said alt, read funny message, detach the Recruit Sigil, and follow instructions above. Just double-click, say yes to "Do you want to join ____'s guild, ________?" VoilÃ*, you have your alt in your guild.

BTW: Dont forget that trash man...you dont want wife aggro!
