Active Dates for the Lamannia Server

• Lamannia is a preview server which will be opened to our registered DDO users periodically to test new content, before it is released to the live servers. To make Lamannia an easier transition for our players, you will find the following available to you when you log into Lamannia:
• A copy of your Turbine Point balance from the live servers as of September 30th, 2009
• Active characters from the live servers who logged in between April 29th 2008 and December 29th 2008

If Lamannia is suppose to available to F2P, Premium, & VIP players then why wouldn't the dates for ACTIVE characters have changed...I personally started my account in Aug/08, waited for over a year for the new mod, and am unable to test out the TR because the only character I have that's even remotely close to being able to test out TR is a lvl 12 or 13 CLR/SORC which i have since deleted off of Ghallanda.

I'm in no way complaining, but merely suggesting the ACTIVE dates be changed to something more recent to allow us to be able test out stuff that may require a player to be of a certain level. Especially considering how long I sat and tried to log into the Lamannia server (sometimes it took hours to get in) to test out the new mod to find the only character i had on it was 1 I had deleted. I was unable to test out anything because it no longer pertained to the characters I actually have.

Some of us don't have the time it takes to grind out a character on the Lamannia server (when it's available for a short period of time for testing) as well as our regular server(s). Could this please be considered the next time Lamannia becomes available for testing?

currently, all characters that were present on lamannia during the closed beta of unlimited are still on lamannia.

Turbine rarely updated Risia, the old test server, with new character versions, I doubt they will update Lamannia character versions often.

While I realize that and completely agree, my point is that how am I suppose to test out anything on there with 1 of my toons when the only 1 I have on Lamannia has since been deleted from my regular acct? None of my actual toons have been moved over to allow me to test the server with them, which in a sense doesn't allow me to test accurately with my builds. To grind out another toon for testing purposes is asinine within the allotted time Lamannia is up, not to mention still not accurate for testing as it isn't in fact 1 of my actual builds.

I am currently testing all F2P path from "Create Character" to Level 5 actually. It is starting to be very dificult, since the lack of people to make nice partys and my hireling isn´t a good help!
Hope more join shortly.

ps: i see several Level 1 trying to make quest in Harbor, Market even in Searing... don´t know how they get there and i wish to help but not babysitting!

they should have done a new recopy of the character rosters from the servers the last time Lamannia was up.

What has happened is that some people who were bored and had nothing to do Live capped out some older versions of their year old copies here, some people who had just subscribed back when the older copies were made decided not to even play on Lamannia because they couldn't test the end-game stuff anyhow, AND they had brand new to DDO Beta accounts added to the mix who had to start from scratch anyhow.

I for one wish for a new copy of current characters from Live the next time Lamannia is offered. This should dramatically increase the amount of people who have characters to try out 'end-game' and anything else that might be up for testing...

As is, I have plenty of 17's to preview the newest content. I really am not interested in trying out T.Reincarnate on the test server as this would just put him back down to restart. Without a new copy of my characters for the next preview, I cannot see myself back here next go around. My characters have all grown & so have I.

Just a reminder: Lamannia have not just news to nivel 17 or higher, check the notes and you will see they renew several dungeons and stuff in the firsts places to visit of DDO.
