    Smile For what it's worth...

I figure since my last thread was deleted, I get to start one more. Peace, Thelanis.

The message now is more on point, the previous one not repeated. I suspect that will, if I guess correctly, keep this one from being deleted.

Forums, by their nature, attract a certain loud and bawdy crowd. So we can expect as time goes on that they will continue to be around.

I always enjoy the kinder posts, even though their numbers represent a small percent. A flower growing among a field of manure has all the better scent. Those who stay and plant such flowers can leave an important dent. So stick around and sow those seeds to stave off the descent.

Never had the pleasure of running with you when I am on Thelanis I tend to stick to guild mostly now. I agree with you the forum morale has been kinda low mine has definitely been hit with the dangle carrot practices theyve used for this game the last few months. Add personal things that have me sad more then smiling and it doesnt help my forum persona much either.

Im hoping when EU is finally released the forums pick up in attitude but right now with the constant "coming soon" looming over our heads many of us are just jaded and bitter. And there are probably more like me who have a not so pleasant out of game issue to deal with and when we come here to the place we seek solace for a bit and find the same stale content, bugs, downtime due to errors its easier for us to lose our patience and vent.

I do hope things get better though if this game didnt have something about it many people wouldnt bother being so negative they would just walk away.

Truly it seems these days that its not about playing a game.
It feels alot more like work, fun comes secondary, efficiency
is king. Roll the uber built, power lvl loot, rinse and repeat.

Cheers, going back to Stormreach, got a toon to level.

It's not often one gets a chance to come across an individual that mixes tremendous game playing skill with the generousity and wholesomeness of a Tibetan Monk. Eriik exemplifies all that is good and wonderful with this world. It has always been my honor to spend time with Eriik in game and to consider him a friend.

I really appreciate Eriik not giving up and continuing to post his series of threads about Eriik. I never get tired of being given opportunities to express my warm feelings and gratitude to one of the greatest players and amazing people this earth has ever seen.

I wish you my fondest farewell Eriik. I will truly miss seeing you in game and never again being able to read a post from you about Eriik. I do understand though that a man of your worldly importance must eventually share your gift with others. Please, there is no need to respond. Just promise to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Now, go out there and make the world a better place for us all!

    Take care my brother,

    Default Eriik Leaving?

    Hmmmm....
I did not realize my husband was leaving the game. I thought he was done posting on the forums. Why is the wife always the last to know?

Hey, I think you need to put a stop to any thoughts of him leaving the game right now!

Show that man just who wears the Icy Rainment in this family!

Anyway, I am back in-game for a limited time (till about Oct) /cheer

Maybe only a couple hours a night Pacific time, but I really hope I can catch up to you guys soon.

    (Definately playing Talonkage Sep 1st!)

    Default Talonkage

I look forward to seeing you soon, unfortunately both my children had surgery this week, so I'll see you next week or beginning of Sept. Keep an eye out for Rebel Iron we love playing with you.

I should mention the Kids are doing fine while recovering and I am mostly taking a break from DDO and waiting on MOD 9!

Eriik did not leave the game...such a nasty rumor for sure!

It's only humping if you take it.

Really, can't we all just get along?
