    Default Monk Capstone idea

I think a better monk capstone then the one being implemented as it does nothing for dps unlike other meele, should include=

    Mind over Matter
Prereq: Level 20 Monk, 74 Action points spent
    Cost: 2 Action Points
Benefit: Your body has become a living fountain of ki, increasing your concentration by 10 and ki generation by 1. In additon, your unarmed strikes now bypass any damage reduction that can be bypassed.

A powerful capstone to be sure, much like paladins weapons of good making every weapon good but better. I think even non-monks will applaud this change as the entire community knows this is exactly what monks need.

I don't know that I'd call it powerful; beyond that, I imagine that if they could implement transmuting unarmed attacks, they would have fixed handwraps by now. Don't get me wrong, every little bit helps, but we still need some dps love.

This change isnt intended to truly fix monk dps, but definately a step in the right direction. I imagine fey that they would have an easier time coding transmuting then all of the greensteel properties (earthgrab etc.) so this will give monks something to use until then.

They have a feat out there, somewhere, that allows you to choose what type of damage you want. Something like "Versatile Strike" in some 3.5 book.

    ie pierce bludge slash.
Q&A is the business of pointing out others' failures. Optimists need not apply.

Thats an epic feat, but not what we are looking for as it does nothing to solve our lack of "silver" handwraps. With this change we could use holyburst of greater bane wraps (if you can find them somewhere) and see all red numbers.

This change should be a implemented while we wait for greensteel wraps because that is what we truly need for viability. The chances of finding a holyburst of greater bane wrap are like winning the lotto, and even then they wont be +5s. Other meele with greensteel on the otherhand dont have to pay millions for a super duper rare wrap, and can easily make a +5 goodburst, transmuting, bleed, keen, acid weapon easily with just running the shroud.
