Fix Rewards based on Monk Class

Eladrin, is there any chance we can update the rewards based on class option for monks to include a new category? Namely=

1. shurikans


I have run both my capped monks their entire lives with this feature turned on, and I have never seen a shurikan as a quest reward choice, despite it being the classes only ranged option. Also, there are WAY to many outfits that show up in the rewards screen. I would like to see more weapon options instead of 50% reward choices being outfits.


At the very least, can we please see 1 shurikan in the list of quest rewards?

Well, it never seemed to me that Enchantments are affected by class at all, just the base item type. Unfortunately, Jewelry, aka Armor Bracers, may not be able to be classified like this, depends how that system is coded. Shuriken should be totally doable though.

This should be an easy change, as the above poster is right that it is hard to code what prefix/suffix will appear in class lists, but definately not which items. Its a simple change being requested, add shurkians to the list of rewards based on class.


So far in DDO I have NEVER even pulled a shurkian from a chest, the two I own are a +1 weakening of maiming (from auction) and a +1 true law of pure good (groupmate looted this and sold it to me). We need a way to get a hold of these ranged weapons. Its only 1 of 4 weapons we can use.

Even tho u would lose some of ur Monk bonuses while centered, they are proficient with light and heavy crossbows. With divine power clickies it is a viable option for ranging. Even without the clickies it's still an option.

Yup, monk reward lists should definitely drop shurikens. I bug reported this a while back, I hope the devs know about this issue, I haven't heard any confirmation that they are aware... a simple 'yes we know' would be cool! /poke
