Really quite on thelanis?

New player just bought the game and I rarely see anyone near my level leveling. Kinda sad, only reason ive made it to almost 4 was I roped a buddy into doing the trial but im pretty sure he doesnt like the game and will be done when his trial is up. So where the heck is everyone?

Yeah, it's a bit dead on Thelanis. I think most of the players were up late playing and are napping for a bit. In the next hour or two, you'll see people logging on. Look into joining a guild sometime so it's easier to get groups together. There should be a Thelanis guild list on this forum.

I've found that the mornings are usually pretty quite especially Sunday's.

So having played for a while i tend to use this time to organize my equipment and do some clean up like trading in collectibles to make room for more.

How is it you are looking for people to group with?

Looking at the LFM/Grouping tab is the best place to go. That said, very often at lower levels the vets won't bother to put up a group, they will just run solo or in small groups with friends. I have found howeer that if you do put up a group yourself, the do tend to fill unless you are running off hours.

Another good strategy is to look for a guild. Many people just run in guild or advertise for groups first in guild. Check out the guild forum for your server and/or ask people about their guilds when you run with them if you like their playstyle.

Make sure you have your LFG icon on over your head and if you are 4th level go and hang out in the Rusty Nail. That should help. This is an xp bonus weekend so there will be lots of people leveling toons - however it's day 3 of that so there may be a slight shortage of people starting out this exact weekend. There seems to just about always be groups looking for members in your level range running harbour quests and marketplace quests. Good luck and welcome!
