    Default Temporary freezing

    Hello,

I am brand spankin new to DDO and bought a new laptop that I hoped would run it without problems. But unfortunately I am experiencing temporary freezing both in and outside of quests. It lasts only a couple seconds, then the game resumes as if I was not giving any input during the freeze.

I updated the video driver from nvidia, but it had no effect on the frequency and duration of the freezing (freezes every minute or so).

    My laptop specs:

    Windows vista home premium 64
    HP Pavilion dv7 notebook
    Intel core duo T5800 @2GHz
    4 gigs ram
nvidia geforce 9600M GT with 512 MB ddr2

Not a techie here, so if there is anything else I can provide, just let me know. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to give me! I am only third level, but keep having close calls during fights due to the freezing. Its sucking the fun out of the game.

    Regards

sounds like a connection issue, check your connection, you should see on your hot bar that has all the little icons a circle within a circle. If you put your curser over that some stats will be shown about your connection. when you freeze, check the connection to see whats going on.

If you are on wireless, then you could be getting packet loss.

Thank you for your response, I will check the connection during freezing.
