Default Highest DPS khopesh that isn't mineral 2-Advice please

I have a mineral 2 khopesh on my paladin. Want to craft a khopesh for mobs where I don't need the transmuting and want to kick out DPS. (Have plenty of larges and shards.) Lightning 2?

Lightning 2 and +/+/+ are all good choices (lightning II is probably more fun, but the lightning strike is likely to get regularly wasted on trash mob).

If you aren't xxxxx good then a neg neg neg could also be fun for the slay living factor and the fact that nearly nobody has one.

Also you could pwn them in the pvp pit if you're into that sort of thing.

pos pos pos is what I am doing with my paladin. holy, holy burst, good burst, pure good, true resurrection, greater disruption. Whoops....forgot that isn't the highest DPS.

Triple positive is a strong choice since it'll hit so many things in game. Triple earth looks fun, the earthgrab seems to go off a good deal. I have always wondered about some of the other effects and if they're worth it...ok, I know they're not worth it from a meta-game/min-max POV, but something like dual wielding eneration weapons could be neat. Not practical, I realize, but neat. The crushing wave and freezing ice procs also interest me.

You don't need to be good-aligned to use good burst/blast.

no, but if your good aligned, you will suffer a neg lvl if you use a negative aligned weapon, which is what the quotee of your quote was mentioning. that neg-neg-neg does look quite fun....slay living....excellent..... >:-D

    I concur with E/E/E and +/+/+ and +/A/(+&A).

But, it'd be a shame to waste so many large ingredients on a weapon that will be useless on the majority of rednamed foes (due to DR, which only gets more common and more severe at higher levels in P&P D&D). If you want a pair of Khopeshes to rip apart trash mobs, invest in two sets - +3 or better Wounders; and a pair of Vorpals. Except on Bats, you'll never need anything else.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

Lightning Strike is just a lot of fun. Cuts through most things like butter.

Also consider Dust II. Dust II gives a disintigrate that does a little less damage than lightning strke (450 vs 650), but it's untyped damage.

On a paladin, maybe earth all the way. When something's earth grabbed, smite it. It'll be an auto crit for 300-600 damage.
