Default stop spam! easy solution provided.

create a filter to not accept tells from anyone under level 3 unless in your guild . this covers all bases . if you know you are going to be getting a tell on your 16 from your friend making new toon you can switch it off. if they log in and you toss guild invite there is no need. this is extremly simple. saying you will investigate only holds merit when you actually will investigate because i spent the whole of 5min investigating personally by making new toon and they just log into creation with fdsfgsfds and spam. ok they move to the harbor even better actual players can investigate by seeing thier whack name and them standing still for 15min. who is with me?!

To answer your question...if you make the tell cut-off lower than lvl 8-10 its pointless...farmers can have a lvl 3 toon in 30mins...a party of them together in half an hour can give them a weeks worth of spammers....when they are all gone...do it again.

    I've said it before...

All they gotta do is set up a tab for generic /tells. They would go into this are silent to never be heard or seen. You COULD have it open if you wanted...like if your expecting to hear from a newly rerolled character that needs a guild invite...or if you are trying to join a group or looking for members for your group but when your done, close it.

Then the ability to accept tells openly ONLY from folks on our friends/guild list or with your current party members. End of Plat spam. May not be EASY but it would knock it out.

I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I don’t think you realize that what you heard was not entirely what I meant.
