    Default Subtle Backstabbing Question

It seemed like when i took subtle backstabbing it was a limited use per rest kind of thing, but when I turn it on, it seems to be left on...

Is it really a toggle, like power attack? I turn it on and it stays on? Is there any sacrifice for leaving it on all the time?

Nope .. unless you count less agro as a downside

Once you activate SB, it permanently (until you toggle it off) reduces the threat generated by your attacks by whatever percent your SB level is. With SB III on my MC rogue, it usually lets me get in an extra 1-2 attacks before I end up with agro if I've hit something that the tanks aren't.

Yes once turned on it will always be on even on load-up. I still keep it on my bar though just in-case i need to turn it off. YES I do turn it off for the simple reason that sometimes i wish to take aggro off clerics and casters. But to get to your point NO there isn't a sacrifice you gain less aggro off tank targets and it is also good because once you get used to it and you feel you may grab aggro it is very easy to stop and let the tank get it back. In the end the less aggro you create the more damage you will do over-all.
