So the GMs finally cracked down on my name for having illegal characters (the - and the 1 in awesomo-1). Little did they know that their attempts to oppress the awesomitude backfired on them. By changing my name they have inadvertently passed me from the realm of awesome into the higher realm of pure uberness.

So yea, if anyone knew Awesomo-1, my new name is Ubertastic.

Interesting Benjai. I've heard that getting a name change can be difficult upon request, although i realize that yours was not by choice. I too have a name change story to add. Hope you don't mind my jumping in on your thread. :P

Zoid used to be known as Thelordof Blades (first name "TheLordof" last name "Blades"). I took the name from the first Eberron module ,"The Forgotten Forge", That is bundled with the Eberron Campaign Setting. The Lord of Blades being the name of a Warforged Juggernaut escaped from "The Last War" who has rallied the support of other displaced warforged who remained in the field when the last war was over. A radical group at best (They hate all fleshlings!).
I built Thelordof or Zoid to be a bit of an outcast from regular society. I had also constructed him with regard to the high level of Warforged hatred that i received from the fleshling wizards and sorcerers when the game had gone from beta to public. Not sure if any of you recall, but people used to seriously hate warforged. I guess thats why i decided to make Zoid a solo artist.
The problem with the name was that people rarely recognized the meaning and would simply pronounce the first name as all one word. Something like "theladorf" (don't ask me where the "r" came from).
Having been undignified repeatedly by mispronunciations, TheLordof Blades asked a GM to switch his name simply to Zoid and that has been what it is ever since! I guess it was really kind of a copy write infringement as well, so they didn't have a hard time granting the name change.

Thats my story and i'm stickin to it. :P
