Solo Reaver

I know it's been done before, but on friday evening I solo'ed the Reaver on normal using my level 14 human Sorcerer. For me, this was a personal first !

There were a few 'oh ****' moments and holding of my breath along the way, but I had a blast doing it. And for those who notice, yep, I really am sitting at -60k debt too.....it took me a few tries

Why not just title the post "Hey devs this raid needs to be made harder and sorcerers need to get nerfed."

I can tell you for a fact that he had been trying to do this for a while. I have seen more screeniies of it than what he posted. I have been with him when we did TOR dragons on elite. I have done many a stupid thing with him just because we where bored and wanted something to do. He is a awesome player and deserves a lil praise instead of someone who knows not of what he speaks to flame and claim the party left. Good players and good builds can overcome alot. Why don't you try it on a sorcerer if you have one and self heal with POTS and wands all the way thru and solo the reaver. Then come here and say they are overpowered it takes skill and the ability to play the game to pull something like this off.

Another thing..how does he have his Resist Energy and Protection from energy separated into the different types on his quick bar?.. I know they used to be separate spells in DDO.. but no longer

Click the spell to cast it and you can pull them out onto your hotbars.

Or more specifically, click the spell, when it brings up the list of resists/pro's, drag the icon for the individual
resists/pro's to your hotbar.

reealllyyy... Been playing a wizard for over a year..and had no clue!!!... That makes it soo much easier...Can you do that with all spells that get a second window? (teleport, Delayed blast fireball)

Edit: Sorry for the Highjack... I have been playing since Beta... and had no clue about this.. and I do not even remember ever seeing it in the forums

Grats Lev. The video you posted was awesome, long but awesome. There were a few times when I thought.."He's gonna die!" but you pulled it out in the end.

Oh and I'd call HAX but your UBER loot is too uber for me.

lol, yep. Anything that has a second "popup" window to it, you can drag the spell out onto your bar. It makes things a lot easier to use when in need

Sutek, I added another screenshot just for you. And yes, before you say it, I *could* have had others drag me through the raid up to this point and then leave group to let me finish it. But really, why bother doing that to come in here and claim I did it by myself ?

I was simply making a fun post that I had fun trying this and that it was a great challenge to myself personally. Your response was not needed, nor required. If you think sorcerer's are too high powered, then so be it. I will say that I spent over 100k in pots during this venture and its not easy healing yourself using only pots and a cure wand at a 30% failure rate.

But so be it, believe what you want, I know what I did, and I was simply trying to share it with others.

Try it without dancing sphere now My wizard doesn't have lvl 7 spells

Thanks Qzipoun. I must say actually, it was another post you made in the solo thread here that inspired me to give it a shot.

Yeah, the dancing balls saved my life in more than once case. I'll have to try it another time without them lol

You pulled it off when I couldn't with my wizard. Just couldn't keep myself alive long enough. Of course I'm really sort of a glass cannon, so meh.

100k in potions and 60k in debt for soloing a raid on normal. ^-~ Nice work.
