Looking for a "Porcupine" build?

Some time ago, there was a discussion about building a character to deal damage by just sitting there taking a beating, with AOE stuff and things like fire shield doing all the work. Anyone remember it or have the build? Almost ready to start my next alt. I do remember it was quite equiptment heavy.
