    Default Aberrations?

I've done a search and couldn't find a complete list, and I have checked the Compendium and I really don't think the list is either complete or up to date.

The question is where can I find a list of monster types and what monsters belong to each type?

I looted a really good Seeker (+4) of Greater Abberation Bane Scimitar and I can't believe that other than Rust monsters the only other Abberation in the game is a Drow Scorpion.

Is there a complete listing of what monster types are in the game and what monsters belong to each group?

Sure was nice of Turbine to give us our guild its own avatar.

Mind Flayers and Beholders are also Abberations.

aberrations tend to be rare and very powerfully. Beholders are...Beholders... Mind flayers eat your brain and rusties eat your weapon.

Thanks for the replies, now at least I know what I should use this weapon on. I don't think I'll ruin it on rusties but a good beholder/mindflayer weapon is always welcome.

For some reason beholders and mindflayers are not in the Compendium yet. Along with a ton of other monsters.

Aberration Bane/Slaying works on- Beholders, Drow Scorpions, Rust monsters, mind Flayers

The above thread is a good little reference. It shows various weapon types bane, alignment, material and lists monsters for each.

OMG that list just reminded me of my PnP fighter's worst nightmare...Delvers... They can destroy your weapon in one hit, anything you are wearing dies not far behind. Makes Rusties and Slimes look damage free.

    We want Delvers

Wait no we don't, everyone will lose all their vorpals

Wait...you know what that would be fun... we want Delvers
