How many sentient filigree slots are there?

Don't usually post to the forums, but I can't find any answers.

Being the enormous packrat that I am, I discovered that the xp counter for my sentient jewel keeps going past 60,000 and the next goalpost is stated at 100k. Can anyone shed light on this? Can we get more than 7 slots?

Why don't you find out? Perhaps the jewel gains some other ability like a capstone?

Currently there are up to seven filigree slots available to unlock. It's possible we may add more in the future.

And currently, the cap of Sentient XP a weapon can hold is 61,000. The extra 1,000 is there essentially as a buffer so people don't inadvertently end up feeling like they "wasted" sentient xp when getting to the 7th slot with a high level item when they only needed 5 XP or whatever.
