I'd wager there's a lot of players that spend a few hours after they get home from work playing the game and spending more time on the weekend doing the same thing. It doesn't seem excessive to me, and I'll bet many more people spend that amount of time just watching TV.

Alex is one of the guildies I mentioned above that burned out. During the time you mentioned our quest list was much different. We were hardcapped at his suggestion while still running quests at a particular level to have more chances to earn rxp. For example, we'd do included Stealthy Repo, Redfang, the entire Catacombs chain, the entire Sharn Syndicate chain, Swiped Signet, Necro I chain, the CO6 chain, the entire Vale, etc. etc. We even went into low epic levels on a life instead of TRing right away. We spent more time than a lot of the group wanted doing things not needed to cap. Ayspam couldn't commit to the time required because of his European time zone and had to drop to play on his own terms.

All that sprinting in a marathon caught up to Alex and he didn't reach 1M rxp before stopping. What he streamed wasn't representative at all of what was typical. After he dropped we settled into our current low-stress routine and have stuck with it.



I guess it isn't apparent why that quest was done. It wasn't done to show any sort of uberness completing an R10. Alex is playing a CON based dwarf warlock in ES. We had no one specced to charm. Aypsam was on a sorc life and had sp issues. We had two pugs that weren't familiar with high reaper completions. We had a guy that had to go AFK in a quest that stalled progression each time that happened. The only reason we did that quest was to see if we could pull some Reaper +2 stat circlets that didn't drop during our R5 and R7 attempts on previous lives. Simple as that. And when you spend over an hour doing so and get to the end fight, you will use whatever you have available to complete. Obviously it's not a optimized "achievement" style run, but we felt very relieved when we finished and decided to share our pain.

To add to this, frets always has an open lfm up if he has spots in his group, I don't think I've ever seen him drop a player. He will painstakingly take the time to heal and raise everyone in the party. If he was going for max speed, you can bet the groups would be limited to channel and guild only and he wouldn't waste time with healing pugs (ty for said healing btw)The quest took longer then it should have because of periodic afks by a player, it was still a lot of fun.

For anyone interested, Reaper AP is not capped at 80. Yukionna has passed that mark and confirmed that you can continue earning rxp that will apply towards your 81st Reaper AP.

I hope that doesn't become wasted effort because someone left it uncapped without expecting anyone to get there this century, but later changes their mind about it.

Some social dialogues (Relic, Shadow of a Doubt, ETK). Keeping quests from failing due to object/NPC destruction (Finding the Path, Dream Conspiracy, Rit Sac, etc.), as well as pulling aggro from party members that are need of rescue.

Fiend. This is my insta-kill Warlock. I have another toon that's a GOO burster still at level 30.

Posting on behalf of my TR buddy Yukionna. He just passed 100 Reaper AP on this life (10M total Reaper XP). Looks like progress is still being counted towards 101 (200K Reaper XP towards that rank). I'm currently at 67 Reaper AP on this toon, with 8 lives to go to finish Racial Completionist, which should just get me to 75 Reaper AP in the process. We've slowed our roll since Ravenloft, with two days out of the week dedicated to the new raids. We've also changed our quest progression based on Ravenloft and the one and done flagging for Litany. Will post the new list next.

The most recent quest list we're using gave 159265 rxp during a cycle. Your mileage may vary depending on bonuses (traps, etc.) and deaths.

Just earned wings on my second toon, ironically my main, while working on getting Racial Completionist. Currently on life 32, so a bit faster than when I earned it on Haemorrhage (which was on his final life). So the updated quest list definitely is a bit more efficient, rxp-wise.
