Does anyone know how high the max dodge bonus goes for two items?

Inquiring minds want to know. It looks like it should be at least +5.

Set bonus is quite strange.

I tried to combine tier 1,2,3 fire + escalation + material
AND
tier 1,2 positive + opposition + material.

But, it still gives me escalation bonus(max dodge 2, not 3), not material.
And it's escalation + opposition, why do I get escalation bonus?

tier 1,2,3 fire + escalation + material
AND
tier 1,2 positive + escalation + ethereal
also give me same escalation bonus(max dodge 2). Really strange.

It gives you plain max dodge bonus, so it's capped by armor max dex bonus

It only states max dodge so I'll assume it's just max dodge.

The max dodge for the following builds, with just two escalation items, is:

Pure Assassin (full MtF stacks): 51 (53 with Cartwheel charge but I don't think most [good] Assassins put the points there, some will take even less Acro cores)
Centered Acrobat: 48
Pure Acrobat: 45
Monk (MoW Water Stance): 42
Pure Assassin: 41

Halfling would add 3 to all of these.

The pajama users don't have an issue, and if you're going for super high dodge I do recommend pajamas, MDB is just one less stat you have to worry about though I do know it is possible to get over 50 MDB (on Rogues at least, and it takes a twist).
