You swing with your weapon and eventually the enemy will turn purple and then have the lil thing above there head.

    Works well in Epic DA

Yes, you can daze Horoth and then take care of Suulo. Horoth just stands there the whole time doing nothing...

This is why I'm wondering if this is working as intended, or if at some point they're going to stop bosses from being able to be dazed because I don't want to go and get use to doing this just to have them snip it all of a sudden...

Well, it is working as written. But as intended is different than written in some cases.

I think it would work on any creatured, named or not, that is not purple.

Not in-game or I'd try it myself...

Is the Swashbuckler effect blocked by Epic Ward?

The daze effect now has a 5 second timer. Dramatic change. Usefulness of this effect is about worthless, IMO, now. 1 min time would make it useful.

    Meh.
The win of it is no save, daze locking.
I would say 5 minutes after I got my shield, I saw 10 more come up. I am sure it will be saveable in the near future.

Correct, today's update does include a change to the Swashbuckler Shield to put it in line with the item description, and no longer have it apply its Guardbreaking effect to bosses and raid bosses.

Can someone confirm that it's now considered a buckler instead of a heavy steel shield?

Not sure I am ever thrilled with boss immunities being increased, but must say the timer change was a good one.

Edit: By the way this is exactly the type of thing that should be listed in the release notes.

Still reporting small shield while granting heavy shield bonus. (+2 as opposed to +1)

Not certain on active DR difference.

I checked and saw that it still has the annoying 15% ASF instead of the more appropriate 5% one would expect on a small shield.

Yeah, Jerry, can you go kick some asses over there and explain to your new coworkers that release notes are supposed to show what's been changed? You'd think that Turbine would have gotten this little one down after 5 years.

Personally I believe that each and every change made in every module, update, patch, or what have you should be completely documented, bug tested, and made public. While I am dreaming, I want a billion dollars, my own personal T3 line installed to my newly-built mansion, and a sandwich. All I'll end up with though is maybe the sandwich.

If that's supposed to be sarcasm, you failed.

I do actually prefer gargantuan release notes that have been separated into subcategories.

What else got changed with this patch? When will we know? How much will it affect us?

This change not making it into the Release Notes was an oversight, we'll get this added tomorrow.
