I agree that was a bit immature but... you still do have to consider how many like him are playing currently and will genuinely quit after these changes go live. There are still a lot of kids playing this game and it's not like the marketplace is short on good quality F2P MMOs.

...and how many quit everyday? Really, it doesn't help. IF you don't like the changes, SAY SOMETHING about it. Threats, especially these, don't work. I know I have been here 4 years and they have never worked, but they do listen to comments and do make changes, even retroactively.

If they are nerfing THF then chances are, that they are doing it for a reason, easy as that.

nobodys thretning to leave just stop paying with free to play we can stay sure ill have to drop a few bank toons but really i pay monthly so i have access to new stuff and high end gear but if you make the toon the gear is for weaker whats the point its not fun anymore if every time you reach a benchmark they gimp you silly

and their is no high end quest i run over and over cause i love it (its to get the gear) and all new content seams to be low level garbage.so no real reason to pay...now if it does not effect toons in the drastic way it looks to, both my reasons for giving them money stay intact i will still need gear and access to higher end quests

ill agree lag is a huge issue in like 10% of the game 25% of the time

lag in 6 man quests not bad
lag in raids with ballanced parties not good
lag in heavy dps parties bad

chopping off a hand because of a hang nail is not a good idea

i want to try it out first but if it does like it looks on paper, its not a fair trade to gimp 40% of the population 100% of the time to fix a sometimes issue in a small % of the game

if they put crafting ingrediants in all high end quests 18-20 and alters in the twelve would you even care about lag

think about it shroud and tod those are the 2 big offenders change the quests to avoid situations like 12 dps beating on a portal for 2 min at a time or 1 boss with a million hp and you solve the same problem

This is why the disclaimer was in Eladrin's original thread. Most people don't get devspeak- they said right in the beginning that most people wouldn't understand the math, let alone the reasoning behind it.

Although you are unfortunately late, Lorien- your voice of reason has fallen on too much emotional buildup.
