    Default dark hunter./barb crit machine

have a barbarian STR-based THF medium armor gear-set? look at that dark hunter and think "man some of those past lives with that extra sneak damage would be nice"? look no further

    15 dark hunter/5 barbarian

plays like a barb that traps. 32 in frenzied berserker for crit multiplier, 24 in dark hunter for melee power on kill, 24 in deepwood stalker for crit range and doublestrike on kill. 14-20x5 with a SOS/ESOS. i haven't played this all the way to cap...it won't stand up to the highest end melee builds, there is no trance, and no haste boost...but you can get some big crits and some dark hunter past lives. i have some racial past lives so i took half orc and got orc rage so i have some sort of action boost. i went with 15/5 for the extra favoured enemy....you could go 12/8 and get improved uncanny dodge that may be better.

I always think about a barbarian that traps and never wanted to take rogue... but a dark hunter? That could be it!
Bought my first dungeon master's guide in 1992. My favourite part of ddo is coffee and slayers

Trapping barbs are annoying af as you have to drop rage to search for traps. Can be mitigated in epics with watchful eye but it ****ed me off on a raging horcrobat i made a year or so back.
