    Default Shillelagh + Improved Critical…

According to the Wiki, the Druid spell Shillelaghenchants your wooden melee weapons to do additional base weapon damage, and converts their damage type to bludgeoning.”

So, if I’m using a wooden dagger, do I want to pick improved critical: piercing, or bludgeoning?

The Improved Critical feat works based on the type of weapon you are wielding, not the damage type it is doing. So you want to have IC:Piercing if you are wielding a dagger.
