I am eating my initial thoughts on your destroying casters. I was wrong. Finally something that will truly allow me to (potentially, testing must be done) survive and be as effective as I’d like to be in raids and higher reaper when grouping. Absolutely love this ED. Very well done.
This will open up PUGs for Sorcerers who get overlooked because they die too easily, make Druid Casters more on par with melee DPS Animal form build Druids and allow for soloing and an actual chance to gain reaper XP when soloing. Absolutely knocked it out of the park. That said, I have heard other points and think there are some good ones (and I’ve added some of my own specific effect suggestions).
1. Toggles are better than permanent paths for so many casters. It allows for situational versatility and even secondary gear swaps to match.
2. Add defensive capabilities to the other two elements, like dodge, gaseous form, or a really powerful version of barkskin for sky, and for the thorn path, negative healing, a really powerful version of thorn guard that heals you when enemies take damage or a bleed effect - could even call it Crown of Thorns.
3. Allow Rejuve to scale w 25% Spellpower.
Separate future idea: Iconic Sorcerer — Tribal Shaman. Base of Poison, Sky & Heal based spells, Reverse Gravity signature spell that pops enemies into air and drops them for force damage. ED: Pact of the Sky Gods: Phoenix or Thunderbird. Phoenix is healing, fire and Res, Thunderbird is Negative, Sonic & Wind (more powerful gusts of wind, cyclonic, gaseous forms, fogs, invisibility, improved invisibility and various clouds (cloudkill, only poison, not acid, etc...).
