Last night I signed into my alt account, and I had someone mention he is thinking of buying a few adventure packs once the free play event ends (I did mention the coupon to him). He was worried about how much it would cost to buy every adventure pack and expansion separately for each server. This despite they are account upgrades. He also thought you had to buy things like shared bank access or races/classes separately for each server.

I already owned most of the packs that were free, I am not mad at it.
I got them from points accumulated from time of playing and some purchased which is a main good thing going VIP on monthly basis, I can pause VIP for a few days and buy packs at sale price then back to VIP
Giving away the latest content, races [even old] and bank upgrades will be the one that will make me mad. There will be no more reason to be VIP.
Considering fast food places have to put "Warning, hot coffee is hot" on the coffee cups because someone sued McDonalds over hot coffee being hot?
And yes, I've researched the details of that case. Both sides were at fault. Micky D's had their coffee machines set to dangerously high temps, but the woman in question had also put her cup between her legs and took off the lid knowing the car was going to be moving then stopping shortly.
You'd be surprised at how dim people can be.

No racism intended but some Americans need that line of text. Based on experience with American clients, we need to keep on reminding them that the computer they purchased with us that comes with our proprietary software needs to be plugged and turned on before they can access the software.
We got 37 lawsuits that is not applicable to us which majority comes in this sentence.
"They did not add a legal binding information that we need to plug the computer to a wall socket and turn it one so we can access their horrible thing [program]".
I don't know who was dumber, the complainant or the court officers.
To be honest, there are a lot of Americans like this. 5 years back, we open our group for public raid.
We got 5 Americans who joined and 2 of them are discussing how stupid DDO was for not allowing to purchase packs the second time.
The other 2 Americans joined in and discuss how easy it is to change the code to allow purchasing packs over again.
So we got 4 out of 5 who are clueless why you cant purchase something you already owned.
As a premium player who owns all the content anyway, I still appreciate this gesture. Thanks!
Thanks a heap!
Just a reminder: we look forward to 99pt expansions.
