I got the 1st color printer at Toys R Us... for my Commodore 64. Yep got the C64 there too!
I can't properly describe how excited I was as a kid when I learned my dad purchased me these two "toys".
My first grill: (it would get so hot, at the end of its life... i needed to use my Moms hair dryer, turn it to the cold setting, and blow it into the back of the drive JUST TO GET IT TO WORK!
So yeah, you could say I was a Toys R Us kid.

Heck I did my first BOOK REPORT on a computer here with EASY SCRIPT, and got busted by my teacher when she learned it had a SPELL CHECKER built in --- my father got summoned to the principles office .... what a fiasco!!
