Apparently the gurus of Gen Con are thinking about adding a second con per year.

Event Registration opened up today at noon Eastern.

I was sitting with cursor hovering over the Wish List submit button as the link went live, and was still 6072nd in line. *sigh*

Due to a change of events in August, I'll not be attending Gen Con this year, and will therefore be missing the Gathering™.

I'll still monitor this thread and keep it active so everyone has a point of reference.

Couple of interesting tidbits arrived in the GenCon newsletter.

Can now buy parking spaces - 1-day or multi-days!

And they're gonna set up an old-fashioned arcade along a public hallway. Quarter op. Not those new-fangled monstrosities that take a dollar or more per play.

Gen Con 2016 will feature an old-school Coin-Op Arcade on the Pedestrian Corridor from the Indiana Convention Center to Lucas Oil Stadium. This is an all-new attraction in an all-new space. Approximately 16 classic arcade machines will line this area, and one quarter is all you need to relive your childhood gaming memories. Perhaps, this will be your first chance to try classic digital gaming?! This area is not far from the Exhibit Hall, so it won't even require a platform jump or a power pellet to get here. Bring your quarters!
