Michael Dorn: aka Worf, Son of Mogh.

The man has a simply amazing voice, and would be a fantastic DM. Plus, he is pure badass.

Who cares about fame? The voice itself is more of a concern.

Along those same lines, Keith David.

Kids will recognize him better as Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles.

Also consider the overall theme of the adventures...you want it to work together. As much as I admire Gary Gygax, he would have made a better npc than he did a DM.

Me! Or, if not me, someone like me, a DDO player!

Would have to be someone who can actually do the job though. Maybe have some kind of voiceover playoffs (?) amongst DDO players with the winner being the next DM.

Now that would be fitting. The ultimate "Powered by its fans" moment.

I voted "other". Michael Dorn would be a great guest DM.

A second choice would be Vin Diesel.

Michael Dorn would be great. Mike Nelson doing his Jack Perkins impression would be pretty funny if he got to write some of his own material.

L10 Elf Cleric, L7 Human Ranger, L3 Dwarf Rogue (Ghallanda)

And if not someone like Geoff, Chai mentioned Mark Hamill (yes, that one) who is THE voice of the Joker in the Batman game/animation world and many, many other voices in animation, when not chopping off hands and heads in some galaxy far, far away.

Another fantastic actor with an amazing voice & ties to video games who would make for an utterly mind-blowing DM voice: Ron Perlman.
