ok depending on cooldowns and durations, those are actually pretty nice. Not that I have even remotely close to 10000 remnants. I would be surprised if I have more than a few hundred, but then I only play a couple of times a week.

Well, I have 3200 or so by now - but there's no way I'll get to 10k by the end of this event.

But I imagine only a fraction of DDO's population is going to be able to collect 10,000 remnants by next week. That's a lot. I'm nowhere close to that and I'm playing most evenings right now. No way I'll have 10,000 by the 6th.

I actually think that may be a fair price but we just haven't had drops in game for long enough for very many people to have put in the game time to accumulate that much. Maybe extend this offer to mid or late February?

Guessing they will be similar in times that existing eternal flasks have. And they will share a cooldown.

Stay healthy folks and don't quit your day jobs!

• Start out with some desktop yoga
• Remember to take breaks and look away from the screen every so often.
• Hydration is important. Also, don't hold it in and go bio when you need to.
• And if you have little people in the household and pets, don't forget about them, or let them loose in the neighborhood.

However those are some nice prizes. I would love to get that cosmetic crown.

Keep in mind the flasks share the same cool down, which is usually 10 minutes. When time is up, so is the buff. The Deathblock one is useful.

Shared Timer on all Eternal Flasks - 5 Minutes Displacement Haste - 10 Minutes on the Rest
Each is a level 10 spell.

Displacement - Haste about 1 Minute (unextended)
Others would be 10 Minutes.

Maybe in a month I'd have enough bits... they just don't drop enough to get 10,000. 1000 is a more reasonable price when you may get 5-6 a quest. why is everything in the last few years being a supergrind???

While I agree that 10,000 is a huge number and few people are likely to get those items, if the amount was more reasonable then everyone and their grandmother and their grandmother's dog would have one. I can already hear the theoretical complaints about powercreep now.

Jerry, can you come back on February 5th when this promo ends and tell us how many of these were actually purchased?

Unless these remnants can be duped, I don't believe anyone will have 10k remnants by then. Great idea to expand the reward list, but either these turn-in rates are sheer lunacy or this promo is about 3 months premature.

In the spirit of offering suggestions and not just criticisms, I would have suggested that you offer some very nice but low cost rewards. Lasting elixirs are 250, so I'm thinking Firewall Flasks for 100, Deathward pots for 100 (same as you get already from Mikela Ravenspear in lower Necropolis), Elixir of Angel Tears for 100, Potions of Cold Shield for 100, Potion of Protection from Elements for 100, Potion of Stoneskin for 100, Vial of Distilled Disco Fever for 500, Vial of Mimic Goo for 500, Vial of Perfect Truesight for 500 (like a store Secret Doors Divining Rod plus tghe usual Truesight to bypass mob blur/displacement).

Something that people can get slightly excited about and if they want to stockpile them while the promo is on then so much the better. All I've done is scanned the list and thought .... cosmetic item I can't preview .... stuff for 10k ..... okay, absolutely nothing in this for me.

Mysterious Remnants went live with U24 patch 1 on January 14th, this promo ends February 4th, so say 3 weeks? 10k in 3 weeks? Tell me what I'm doing wrong man.

I assume this is just some tests for ideas for rewards etc. That's cool.
No one will actually get these this time around, I assume, but I don't mind. At least we get an idea of where they are going with this. That's something.

Are various things going to be offered for limited times with remnants? Like seasonal rewards?

Yep with abismal drop rates I don't see these as reasonable with a time limit & such high costs.
